Hi, thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay.

My name is Susan and I reside in Alberta, Canada.

I've always had a creative side however, it lay dormant for far too long. That is until I discovered Acrylic Fluid Art in January 2021 and I've not looked back.

Fluid Art is a form of abstract art using acrylic paints mixed with various mediums.

There is quite a bit of science behind this artform, as each color must be mixed to a certain consistency using various mediums, so that when combined, they react with each other to create visually organic art pieces.

Things can go wrong pretty fast if mistakes are made and I've quite a few canvases to prove this. (OOPS!) But they are repurposed or reused on another day. Much of the extra paint is also collected and reused creating one of kind colors.

Each completed piece cures for 4 weeks to ensure all the paint layers have dried and I then apply several coats of Liquitex varnish to seal and protect the painting.
